The following provisions shall apply to creditable service as defined in s. 121.021(17):
The following provision shall apply to creditable service as defined in s. 121.021(17): no creditable service which remained unclaimed at retirement may be claimed or purchased after a retirement benefit payment has been cashed or deposited.
(1) The department shall adopt rules establishing procedures for the submission of evidence or information necessary to establish a member’s claim of creditable service.
(2) No creditable service which remained unclaimed at retirement may be claimed or purchased after a retirement benefit payment has been cashed or deposited.
