Federal laws that relate to the Florida National Guard, and that are not inconsistent with the State Constitution or state law, are part of the military laws of the state. The Governor of Florida, as commander in chief, may perform all acts to raise and keep the Florida National Guard at the standard required by the laws of the United States and the rules and regulations of the Secretary of Defense governing the National Guard.
