Space Florida shall be governed by a 13-member independent board of directors that consists of the members appointed to the board of directors of Enterprise Florida, Inc., by the Governor, the President of the Senate, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives pursuant to s. 288.901(5)(a)7. and the Governor, who shall serve ex officio, or who may appoint a designee to serve, as the chair and a voting member of the board.
