The following persons may request an emergency admission:
The following persons may request a certificate for emergency assessment or admission:
(1) In the case of an adult, the certifying physician, the person’s spouse or guardian, any relative of the person, or any other responsible adult who has personal knowledge of the person’s substance abuse impairment.
(1) In the case of an adult, any professional who may issue a professional certificate pursuant to s. 397.6793, the person’s spouse or legal guardian, any relative of the person, or any other responsible adult who has personal knowledge of the person’s substance abuse impairment.
(2) In the case of a minor, the minor’s parent, legal guardian, or legal custodian.
