Licensure by endorsement; waiver of examination requirement

(1) The board may grant a license to any person who meets the requirements for licensure by endorsement under s. 456.0145.

(2) The board may waive the examination and grant a license to any applicant who presents proof of current licensure as an occupational therapist or occupational therapy assistant in a foreign national jurisdiction which requires standards for licensure determined by the board to be equivalent to the requirements for licensure in this part.

(3) Applicants for licensure by endorsement under s. 456.0145 must submit to background screening in accordance with s. 456.0135.
