Cost of providing county forestry assistance

The cost of county forestry assistance provided under the provisions of ss. 589.28-589.34 shall be jointly determined and paid by the Division of Forestry and the county commission or municipality and shall be not less than 40 percent of the cost of the equivalent of 1 person-year of assistance. However, the county or municipality share shall not exceed the sum of $3,000 per annum for each person-year of assistance provided.
