Mandated coverages

Known as the Alonzo Mourning Access to Care Act

Mandatory health benefits regulated under this chapter are not intended to apply to the types of health benefit plans listed in s. 627.6513(1)-(14), issued in any market, unless specifically designated otherwise. For purposes of this section, the term “mandatory health benefits” means those benefits set forth in ss. 627.6401-627.64193, and any other mandatory treatment or health coverages or benefits enacted on or after July 1, 2012.
