(1) A captive insurer shall not be required to make any annual report except as provided in this section.

(2) A captive insurer shall, within 60 days after the end of its fiscal year and as often as the office may deem necessary, submit to the office a report of its financial condition verified by oath of two of its executive officers. The commission may adopt by rule the form in which captive insurers shall report.
