Power of department and office to examine and investigate

The department and office may, within their respective regulatory jurisdictions, examine and investigate the affairs of every person involved in the business of motor vehicle service agreements in this state in order to determine whether such person has been or is engaged in any unfair method of competition or in any unfair or deceptive act or practice prohibited by s. 634.2815, and each shall have the powers and duties specified in ss. 634.284-634.289 in connection therewith.
