The Office of Insurance Regulation may adopt rules to administer the provisions of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners’ Uniform Health Carrier External Review Model Act, issued by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners and dated April 2010. This section does not apply to a health maintenance contract that is subject to the subscriber assistance program under s. 408.7056 or to the types of benefits or coverages provided under 1s. 625.6561(5)(b)-(e) issued in any market.
