O.C.G.A. § 33-5-35

Applicability of article

— Code 1933, § 56-627, enacted by Ga

This article controlling the placing of insurance with unauthorized insurers shall not apply to reinsurance or to the following insurance when so placed by licensed agents or brokers of this state:

(1) Insurance on property or operation of railroads engaged in

interstate commerce; or

(2) Insurance of aircraft owned or operated by manufacturers of aircraft or operated in scheduled interstate flight, or cargo of the aircraft, or against liability, other than workers’ compensation and employer’s liability, arising out of the ownership, maintenance, or use

of the aircraft.
