Commissioner may delegate

Any power, duty, or function vested in the commissioner by this code may be exercised, discharged, or performed by any employee of the department of commerce and consumer affairs acting in the name and by the delegated authority of the commissioner, with the approval of the director of the department of commerce and consumer affairs.
