Issuance of new check

Upon presentation of any check voided as above provided by the holder thereof after said six months’ period, the state treasurer is hereby authorized to issue to said holder, a new check for the amount of the original check.
Upon presentation of any check voided as provided in section 12.19 by the holder of the check after the six-month period, the state treasurer is authorized to issue a new check for the amount of the original check to the holder.
