Any commission member shall be removed for any of the causes and in the manner provided by chapter 66 relating to removal from office; such removal shall not be in lieu of any other punishment that may be prescribed by the laws of this state.
A commission member or officer or employee of the department shall not be personally liable for damages sustained by any person due to the act of such member, officer, or employee performed in the reasonable discharge of the member’s, officer’s, or employee’s duties as enumerated in this chapter.
