1. Every person, partnership, or corporation engaged in the business of buying poultry or domestic fowls for the market from the producer, shall obtain a license from the department for each establishment at which business is conducted.
1. “Department” means the department of agriculture and land stewardship.
2. The word “producer” as used in this chapter shall include anyone not a licensed dealer who has acquired such poultry or domestic fowls other than through a licensed dealer.
2. “Producer” means a person, not a licensed dealer under section 197.1A, who acquires poultry or domestic fowl other than through a licensed dealer.
