Advisory committees

The council may establish and utilize other ad hoc advisory committees as determined necessary to advise the council related to the subject matter under the purview of the department, including but not limited to child and family services, behavioral health, public health, and the department’s interactions with the juvenile justice system. The council shall establish appointment provisions, membership terms, operating guidelines, and other operational requirements for committees established pursuant to this section.
