A person admitted or committed to a county institution or home or admitted or committed at county or state expense to a private hospital, sanitarium, or other facility for treatment, training, instruction, care, habilitation, and support as a patient with an intellectual disability shall be liable to the county or state, as applicable, for the reasonable cost of the support as provided in section 222.78.
A person admitted to a county institution or admitted at state expense to a private hospital, sanitarium, or other facility for treatment, training, instruction, care, habilitation, and support as a patient with an intellectual disability shall be liable to the state for the reasonable cost of the support as provided in section 222.78.
