Department as authority in receiving state

As used in paragraph “a” of article V of the interstate compact on the placement of children under section 232.158, the phrase “appropriate authority in the receiving state” with reference to this state shall mean the state department of human services.
As used in paragraph “a” of article V of the interstate compact on the placement of children under section 232.158, the phrase “appropriate authority in the receiving state” with reference to this state means the state department of health and human services.
