A community colleges division shall be established within the department of education. The division shall exercise the powers and perform the duties conferred by law upon the department with respect to community colleges.
A community colleges bureau shall be established within the higher education division of the department. The bureau shall exercise the powers and perform the duties conferred by law upon the department with respect to community colleges.
