Compensation of engineer

The compensation of such engineer on the preliminary investigation shall be determined by the board of supervisors and may be by percentage or per diem.
The compensation of the engineer appointed under section 357.6 to conduct the preliminary investigation shall be determined by the board of supervisors and may be by percentage or per diem.
