Examination — testimony

The said board may examine the proposed route of said pipeline or lines and location of said gas storage area, or may cause such examination to be made by an engineer selected by it. At said hearing the said board shall consider said petition and any objections filed thereto and may in its discretion hear such testimony as may aid it in determining the propriety of granting such permit.
The commission may examine the proposed route of the pipeline or lines and location of the proposed gas storage area or may select an engineer to make the examination. At the hearing, the commission shall consider the petition and any objections filed to the petition and may, in its discretion, hear any testimony as may aid the commission in determining the propriety of granting the permit.
