Iowa Code § 490.501

Registered office and agent of domestic and registered foreign corporations

Each corporation must continuously maintain in this state both of the following:

(2) A domestic or foreign corporation or eligible entity whose business office is identical with the registered office and, in the case of a foreign corporation or foreign eligible entity, is registered to do business in this state.
c. A foreign corporation or not-for-profit foreign corporation authorized to transact business in this state whose business office is identical with the registered office.
2. As used in this subchapter, “corporation” means both a domestic corporation and a registered foreign corporation.
