Payment of claims
Known as the Managing General Agents Act
The act spans §§ 510.10 to 510.9 (25 sections).
A claim paid by the third-party administrator from funds collected on behalf of the insurer shall be paid only on a draft, check, or by electronic funds transfer as authorized by the insurer.
