Violations of law — referrals to the department of health and human services

If the commissioner discovers a violation of a provision of this chapter or any other state law or rule concerning the disposal or transportation of human remains, the commissioner shall forward all evidence in the possession of the commissioner concerning such a violation to the Iowa department of public health for such proceedings as the Iowa department of public health deems appropriate.
If the commissioner discovers a violation of a provision of this chapter or any other state law or rule concerning the disposal or transportation of human remains, the commissioner shall forward all evidence in the possession of the commissioner concerning such a violation to the department of health and human services for such proceedings as the department of health and human services deems appropriate.
