Effect of affidavit

As of January 1, 2012
The taking of such an affidavit shall not exempt the officer from any liability to which the officer might otherwise be subject for taking insufficient security.
The taking of an affidavit under section 636.8 shall not exempt the officer from any liability to which the officer might otherwise be subject for taking insufficient security.
