Iowa Code § 66.15

Order by appointed judge

Upon the receipt of such commission, said judge shall immediately make an order fixing a time and place of hearing in the county in which the petition is filed. Said time shall not be less than ten days nor more than twenty days from the date of the order.
Upon the receipt of a commission issued pursuant to section 66.14, the judge shall immediately make an order fixing a time and place of hearing in the county in which the petition is filed. The hearing date shall be not less than ten days nor more than twenty days from the date of the order.
