Fire protection contracts

The director may enter into contracts with the governing body of any city for the protection from fire of any property under the director’s primary control, located in any city or in territory contiguous to a city.
1. The director may enter into contracts with the governing body of any city for the protection from fire of any property under the director’s primary control, located in any city or in territory contiguous to a city.
The state fire marshal shall cause an annual inspection to be made of all the institutions listed in section 904.102 and shall make a written report of the inspection to the director.
2. The director of the department of inspections, appeals, and licensing or the director’s designee shall cause an annual inspection to be made of all the institutions listed in section 904.102 and shall make a written report of the inspection to the director.
