Children and Family Services Act
- 20 ILCS 505/1— The purpose of this Act is to create a Department of Children and Family Services to provide social services to children and their families, to operate children's institutions, and to provide certain other rehabilitative and residential services as enumerated in this Act
- 20 ILCS 505/1.1— This Act shall be known and may be cited as the Children and Family Services Act
- 20 ILCS 505/2— In addition to the powers and duties otherwise provided by law, the Department shall have the powers enumerated in Sections 3 through 34.12 inclusive, except as otherwise provided in those Sections
