Access to premises

Known as the Meat and Poultry Inspection Act

The act spans §§ 225-650-1 to 225-650-9 (72 sections).

No person shall deny access to any authorized personnel upon the presentation of proper identification at any reasonable time to establishments, broker facilities, warehouses or vehicles used in the transportation of meat and poultry or products thereof and to all parts of such premises for the purposes of making inspections, examination of records, inventories, copying and sampling under this Act. Samples of products, water, dye, chemicals, preservatives, spices, or other articles in any official or exempted establishment shall be taken for examination as often as necessary for efficient inspection.
