Transient Merchant Act of 1987

  • 225 ILCS 465/1— This Act shall be known and may be cited as the "Transient Merchant Act of 1987"

  • 225 ILCS 465/4— (a) Any person who wishes to obtain a license as a transient merchant or itinerant vendor shall file a written license application with the appropriate licensing agency as provided in this Section

  • 225 ILCS 465/7— Any person who is convicted of violating any provision of this Act is guilty of a Class B misdemeanor
  • 225 ILCS 465/8— Nothing in this Act shall limit the authority of a unit of local government to license or regulate transient merchants or itinerant vendors in a manner not inconsistent with this Act
