5 ILCS 375/7.1

Any benefit received by an employee under this Act pursuant to a collective bargaining agreement may be extended by the Director to employees whose wages, hours and other conditions of employment with the State are not subject to a collective bargaining agreement

Known as the State Employees Group Insurance Act

The act spans §§ 5-375-1 to 5-375-9 (45 sections).

In addition, if any benefit is offered by the Department of Central Management Services to employees who are not members of a recognized bargaining unit, then that benefit shall also be offered to all bargaining unit members through their certified exclusive representative.
