70 ILCS 1005/4

If a majority of the votes cast on the question are in favor of the organization of the territory as a mosquito abatement district such territory shall thenceforth be deemed an organized mosquito abatement district under this Act

Known as the Mosquito Abatement District Act

The act spans §§ 70-1005-0-01 to 70-1005-9-5 (24 sections).

The district so organized shall have the name set forth in the petition and by such name may transact all corporate business. Such district shall constitute a body corporate and politic and exercise the powers herein prescribed. All courts of this State shall take judicial notice of the organization of the said mosquito abatement district.
