70 ILCS 2905/3-2

Each commissioner shall, before entering upon the duties of his office, execute a bond with security to be approved by the appointing authority, payable to the district, in the penal sum of $10,000, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the duties of his office

P.A. 78-1017.

Such bond shall be filed with and preserved by the county clerk of the county from which the commissioner was appointed.
