- 70 ILCS 2605/1.1— This Act may be cited as the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Act
- 70 ILCS 2605/2— All courts in this state shall take judicial notice of the existence of all sanitary districts organized under this act
- 70 ILCS 2605/3— The corporate authority of the Sanitary District of Chicago shall consist of nine trustees

- 70 ILCS 2605/4.30a— Any citizen may maintain a suit to restrain a disbursing officer from making any payment in contravention of any provision of this law, or of any rule, regulation or order thereunder

- 70 ILCS 2605/4.33— Any person who shall wilfully or through culpable negligence violate any of the provisions of this Act shall be guilty of a Class B misdemeanor

- 70 ILCS 2605/4.35— Prosecution for violations of this Act may be instituted either by the Attorney General, the State's attorney for the county in which the offense is alleged to have been committed, or by the civil service board acting through special counsel

- 70 ILCS 2605/4.37— The provisions of the Administrative Review Law, and all amendments and modifications thereof, and the rules adopted pursuant thereto, shall apply to and govern all proceedings for the judicial review of final administrative decisions of the civil service commission hereunder

- 70 ILCS 2605/4a— The chairman of the committee on finance of the board of trustees of any sanitary district organized under this Act may designate in writing one or more persons who shall have authority to affix his signature as chairman to any written instrument which is required to be signed by the chairman
- 70 ILCS 2605/4b— The Governor shall appoint, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, a State Sanitary District Observer
- 70 ILCS 2605/5.1— The fiscal year of any sanitary district organized under this Act shall commence on the first day of January and terminate on the 31st day of December

- 70 ILCS 2605/5.3— The budget for the district shall present a complete financial plan for the budget year
- 70 ILCS 2605/5.4— The executive director shall prepare the budget for the district and shall submit the proposed budget to the board of trustees which shall make such changes as it deems desirable and shall approve the budget

- 70 ILCS 2605/11.20— There shall be a board of standardization, composed of the director of procurement and materials management of the sanitary district who shall be chairman, and 4 other members who shall be appointed by the president of the board of trustees of the sanitary district
- 70 ILCS 2605/11.21— Official ordinances authorized by this Act shall be adopted by formal action of the board of trustees of the sanitary district and shall be published for the information of the public
- 70 ILCS 2605/11.22— Any purchase order or contract executed in violation of this Act shall be null and void
- 70 ILCS 2605/11.23— The comptroller of the sanitary district shall conduct audits of all expenditures incident to all purchase orders and contracts awarded by the director of procurement and materials management
- 70 ILCS 2605/11.24— (a) A person or business entity shall be disqualified from doing business with The Metropolitan Sanitary District of Greater Chicago for a period of 5 years from the date of conviction or entry of a plea or admission of guilt, if that person or business entity: 1

- 70 ILCS 2605/12a— Any such sanitary district may accept anticipation warrants issued by any municipality or municipalities within the territorial limits of such sanitary district in payment of any judgment or other obligation due such district
- 70 ILCS 2605/13— The board of trustees has power to defray the expenses of any improvement made by it in the execution of the powers hereby granted to such incorporation, by special assessment or by general taxation, or partly by special assessment and partly by general taxation, as they shall by ordinance prescribe
