Sec. 1. The Republic Aviation P-47 Thunderbolt:
(1) produced in Evansville, Indiana, from 1942 to 1945; and
(2) commonly known as the "Indiana Warbird";
is designated as the official state aircraft of Indiana.
Sec. 1. The Republic Aviation P-47 Thunderbolt known as the Hoosier Spirit II, produced in Evansville, Indiana, during World War II, is designated as the official state aircraft of Indiana.
