Election and terms of chairperson and vice chairperson

Sec. 10. (a) The governor shall:
(1) designate a member of the council to serve as the chairperson of the council; or
(2) require the council to designate a chairperson from within its membership.
Sec. 10. (a) The council shall annually elect a chairperson and vice chairperson from within its membership.
(b) A member of the council who is a representative of the division may not serve as chairperson of the council.
(b) A member of the council who is a representative of the division may not serve as chairperson or vice chairperson of the council.
(c) A chairperson may be reappointed for succeeding terms.
(c) A chairperson and vice chairperson may be reelected for succeeding terms.
