Sec. 18. "Assistance", for purposes of the following statutes, means money or services regardless of the source, paid or furnished under any of the following statutes:
(1) IC 12-10-6.
(2) IC 12-13.
(3) IC 12-14.
(4) IC 12-15.
(5) IC 12-19.
