Sec. 5. The state veterinarian:

(1) serves as secretary of the board;
(1) serves as the chief administrative officer of the board and performs the duties delegated by the board to the state veterinarian;
(2) provides technical advice and assistance to the board of veterinary medical examiners; and
(2) provides technical advice and assistance to, and serves as the chief administrative officer of, the Indiana board of veterinary medicine under IC 25-38.1; and
(3) performs the duties delegated by the board to the state veterinarian.
(3) performs the duties delegated by the Indiana board of veterinary medicine to the state veterinarian.
