"Habitual truant"

Sec. 6.5. "Habitual truant" has the meaning set forth in IC 20-20-8-8.
Sec. 6.5. "Habitual truant" refers to a student who has been absent ten (10) days or more from school within a school year without being excused or without being absent under a parental request that has been filed with the school.
