Sec. 4. If any authorizer renews the charter of, fails to close, or grants a new charter to a charter school that the state board has ordered closed under section 2(d) of this chapter, the authorizer's authority to authorize new charter schools may be suspended by the state board until such a time as the state board formally approves the authorizer to authorize new charter schools. A determination under this section to suspend an authorizer's authority to authorize new charter schools must identify the deficiencies that, if corrected, will result in the approval of the authorizer to authorize new charter schools.
