Sec. 9. Beginning with the class of students who are expected to graduate in the 2005-2006 school year, the department shall determine the graduation rate of high school students under this chapter.
Sec. 9. (a) Subject to subsection (b), the department shall determine the graduation rate of high school students under this chapter.
(b) Except to the extent required under federal law, an adult high school (as defined in IC 20-24-1-2.3) is excluded from all cohort based graduation rate calculations.
