Academic standards committee

Sec. 4. The state superintendent shall appoint an academic standards committee composed of subject area teachers, higher education representatives with subject matter expertise, and parents during the period when a subject area is undergoing revision.
Sec. 4. The secretary of education shall appoint an academic standards committee composed of:
(1) subject area teachers with subject matter expertise;
(2) higher education representatives with subject matter expertise;
(3) employers; and
(4) parents;
that is racially and geographically diverse during the period when a subject area is undergoing revision.
