Grant of certain diplomas

Sec. 2. The department may grant the following:

(1) An Indiana high school equivalency diploma to an individual who achieves satisfactory high school level scores on the Indiana high school equivalency test or any other properly validated test of comparable difficulty designated by the cabinet.
(1) An Indiana high school equivalency diploma to an individual who achieves satisfactory high school level scores on the Indiana high school equivalency test or any other properly validated test of comparable difficulty designated department.
(2) An Indiana competency based high school diploma or equivalency diploma to an individual who: (A) demonstrates high school level skills through validated competency based assessments designated by the cabinet; and (B) obtains an industry recognized certificate.
(2) An Indiana competency based high school diploma or equivalency diploma to an individual who: (A) demonstrates high school level skills through validated competency based assessments designated by the department; and (B) obtains an industry recognized certificate.
