Sec. 1.5. (a) Any up-front payment made by the lessee at the time a rental purchase agreement is entered into must be treated by the lessor as an initial rental payment.
(b) An initial rental payment:
(1) is subject to the disclosure requirements of IC 24-7; and
(2) may be in a sum larger than a regular rental payment due under the rental purchase agreement.
