Sec. 4. (a) Each circuit court clerk or town clerk-treasurer who receives a writ ordering a special election shall publish in accordance with IC 5-3-1:
Sec. 4. (a) Each circuit court clerk who is required to conduct a special election under Indiana law or receives a writ ordering a special election shall publish in accordance with IC 5-3-1 the following information:
(1) under the proper political party or independent candidate designation: (A) the title of office; and (B) the names and addresses of all candidates who have filed for election to the office, except for an individual with a restricted address under IC 36-1-8.5; if an elected office will be on the ballot at the special election;

(b) The county election board or town election board shall file a notice of a special election conducted under this chapter with the election division not later than noon seven (7) days after receiving the writ.
