Effect of chapter; supplemental order of expungement due to change in laws; convictions relating to commercial motor vehicles

(c) A person whose petition for expungement was granted before July 1, 2019, may file a petition for a supplemental order of expungement under section 9 of this chapter to obtain the benefit of changes in SEA 235-2019 as enacted in the 2019 session of the general assembly, if applicable.

(d) A court may not order the bureau of motor vehicles to seal, restrict access to, or otherwise expunge a conviction (as defined in 49 CFR 383.5) under this chapter for a person:
(1) who held a commercial drivers license or commercial learners permit under IC 9-24-6.1 at the time of the offense; and
(2) whose conviction is for a violation described in 49 CFR 384.226.
