citing decisions per year

Court decisions citing this, by year. The dip in the last several years is a data-coverage gap, not a real trend — our corpus holds fewer opinions from the most recent years, so recent citations are undercounted.

Sec. 3. (a) As used in this chapter, "impermissible contact" includes the following:

(1) Following or pursuing the victim.

(2) Communicating with the victim.

(3) Posting on social media, if the post:

(A) is directed to the victim; or

(B) refers to the victim, directly or indirectly.

(b) The list in subsection (a) is nonexclusive.
