"Water utility"

Sec. 4. As used in this chapter, "water utility" means:

(1) a public utility (as defined in IC 8-1-2-1(a)); or

(2) a municipally owned utility (as defined in IC 8-1-2-1(h));

(b) For purposes of this chapter, a municipally owned utility includes a utility company owned, operated, or held in trust by a consolidated city.
