Md. Code Ann., Bus. Occ. & Prof. § 10-213

Known as the Maryland Lawyers Act

The act spans §§ 10–10 (53 sections).

(a) Subject to subsection (b) of this section and while an admission to the Bar is in effect, the admission authorizes a lawyer to practice law in any court.

(b) Before a lawyer may practice law, the lawyer shall satisfy any additional requirement set by rule of the Supreme Court of Maryland.
