Except in the discharge of an official duty, an official or employee may not disclose or use confidential information acquired by reason of the official’s or employee’s public position and not available to the public:
Except in the discharge of an official duty, an official or employee or a former official or employee may not disclose or use confidential information acquired by reason of the individual’s public position or former public position and not available to the public:
(1) for personal economic benefit; or
(1) for personal economic benefit; or
(2) for the economic benefit of another.
